A reading journal holds a record of the books you read and what you thought of them. This one has a year log of 52 books, a to-be-read list, eight review pages, a page of favorite quotes and a series tracker, so one binder holds a whole year of reading.
Page two works as a book tracker for the whole year. It has 52 numbered lines for title and author, the month you finished, and five stars to shade. Page three is the to-be-read list, with forty lines and a column for who recommended each book. The last page tracks series, with ten boxes per series.
The first page is a cover with a line for the year and a line for the owner's name. Nothing in the journal is dated, so you can write any year on the cover and start on any day. Color the cover in, slip it into the front of a binder, and the journal is ready.
Print the pages single-sided for a binder, or double-sided on six sheets and staple them as a booklet. Plain printer paper works. Heavier paper, around 24 lb or 90 gsm, keeps ink from showing through when you print on both sides. The footers are centered, so either side lines up.
Double-sided printing puts the twelve pages on six sheets. Flip on the long edge; the footers are centered, so either side lines up.
Punch the pages for a binder, or fold and staple them. For more review pages, print pages 4 to 11 again and add them.

The year log has 52 numbered lines, enough for a book a week. The to-be-read list holds forty more, and the eight review pages give room for longer notes.
