Reading log
Six books, six ratings
Keep a reading tracker inside your book with free tracker bookmarks for a reading log, a to-be-read list, a reading challenge and a month of reading minutes. Three more sets of tracker bookmarks have ruled backs. For the desk or the fridge there are one-page logs, book bingo and a reading challenge sheet, all for US Letter and A4.
Keep track of the books you read with a tracker bookmark that stays in the book. Write the title and a star rating on the reading log bookmark each time you finish one. For a bigger picture, fill in the Year in Books sheet or color a spine on the TBR Shelf when a book is done.

Every tracker here is a free PDF for US Letter and A4. Print them for yourself, your family, your book club or your classroom as often as you like. The bookmarks last longest on 65 lb cardstock, and the one-page logs print well on plain paper.
Audiobooks can count on your own reading tracker, because you set the rules for your log. Add a small mark next to the title if you want to tell them apart from print books. For a class or library challenge, check the challenge rules first.
Every tracker on this page is free to download, print and use as often as you like. Use them for yourself, your family, your book club or your classroom.
Print the sheet on cardstock and cut the four bookmarks apart. The reading log holds six books with a star rating each, Up next is a to-be-read list with boxes to tick, the challenge has twelve prompts, and the minutes bookmark has a box for every day of the month.
Matte cardstock of about 176 gsm (65 lb cover) suits the bookmark sets, so they survive months in a book. The one-page logs print well on plain paper, or on 120 gsm paper for a sheet you keep all year.
Each bookmark set starts with a test sheet on pages 3 and 4. Print it on plain paper, hold it to the light and check that the crosses meet. Then print pages 5 to 8 at actual size, flipping on the long edge.
Each tracker bookmark trims to 2 by 7 inches, or 5.1 by 17.8 cm. That fits paperbacks and hardcovers with a little sticking out of the top.
