Bingo Card Generator for Words, Books and Numbers
This bingo card generator turns your own words, reading prompts or numbers into up to 30 shuffled cards. Start from a ready list, such as book bingo prompts, the 40 Dolch pre-primer sight words or the numbers 1 to 75, or type your own. Pick a 3×3, 4×4 or 5×5 grid, with or without a free centre square. Print one or two cards per sheet, plus a calling list.
How can I create my own bingo cards with words?
Create your own bingo cards with words by typing one word per line into the generator above. Pick a grid size, choose whether to keep a free centre square, and set how many cards you need. Press Print cards, then print the calling list to tick off each word as you call it.
Book bingo for readers and book clubs
In book bingo each square is a reading prompt, such as a book set at sea or a book from the library. Read a book that fits a square and write its title there; turn on the line in each square for that. A line of five finished books is a bingo, and a full card is a blackout.
Custom bingo card generator for any word list
Type one item per line: spelling words, party themes or anything else. You need one item per square: 24 for a 5×5 card with a free centre, 25 without it, 16 for 4×4 and 8 or 9 for 3×3. With more items than squares, each card gets a different mix, so fewer players fill a line at once.
Bingo card generator with numbers 1 to 75
On a 5×5 card the numbers follow the classic layout: B holds 1 to 15, I 16 to 30, N 31 to 45, G 46 to 60 and O 61 to 75. Call numbers in any order and tick them on the printed calling list. On 3×3 and 4×4 cards the numbers are simply mixed.
Questions
How can I print my own bingo cards?
Press Print cards and choose one large card or two cards per sheet on US Letter or A4. Set the printer to 100% or actual size so the grid keeps its shape.
How to generate bingo cards?
Generate bingo cards by choosing a list, a grid size and the number of cards, up to 30. Each card gets its own shuffle from the shuffle code.
How many items do I need?
One item per square is needed: 24 for a 5×5 card with a free centre, 25 without it, 16 for 4×4, and 8 or 9 for 3×3. A 4×4 card has no centre square, so the free space option is off for that size.
What does the shuffle code do?
The shuffle code fixes the order on every card. Type the same code with the same list and settings and you get exactly the same cards again; press New shuffle for a fresh set.
Can I make sight word bingo cards?
The 40 Dolch pre-primer sight words are one of the ready lists. On a 5×5 card with a free centre, each card gets 24 of the 40 words in its own order.
Is the bingo card generator free?
The bingo card generator is free for personal and classroom use. Everything runs in your browser, with no sign-up.
